The centrepiece of its Osterley campus was completed in July 2016, and accommodates 3,500 employees over three huge floors. It has been designed for flexibility, openness and to foster the lively flow of people and ideas around the business. Bringing together the corporate and creative sides of the business under a single roof, Sky Central puts entertainment, live production and the development of new ideas through collaboration at the heart of the Sky experience. The building incorporates a wide spectrum of workspace types for every task, supported by amenities including six cafes and restaurants, a 200-seat 4K digital cinema, a Little Waitrose and an event centre. Ramps and staircases permeate the central void and wrap themselves around two central mezzanines and two atria, encouraging mobility and interaction. The building is designed as a safe, healthy and environmentally sustainable workplace for everyone, to a BREEAM rating of Excellent.
